Dr Eden Lurie is a General Practitioner with a special interest in managing chronic diseases with a holistic approach using both medicine and lifestyle approaches to achieve improved outcomes.
She also has a passion for aesthetic medicine.
Dr Lurie obtained her degree in Medicine from the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2019, as well as a Bachelor of Science with a major in Genetics and Human Physiology in 2013 from UCT. Following this, she completed her medical internship and community service at different public hospitals in KZN and the Eastern Cape, between 2020 and 2022.
Dr Lurie is also an executive board member for the South African Lifestyle Medicine Association, a non-profit organisation that provides education and resources for medical professionals.

Management of your chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, elevated cholesterol, thyroid problems and others. We follow the management guidelines to cater to different medical aid requirements for tests, ecg and necessary follow ups.
Diagnosis and management of a range of mental health conditions, with an emphasis on treating the cause with psychological management whilst managing the acute or chronic illnesses with medication. Dr Lurie is passionate about skin health and cancer prevention. She offers advice and treatment of acne, eczema, dermatitis and moles. We offer cryotherapy - the freezing of benign warts, moles and sun-spots with liquid nitrogen, and if needed the removal and biopsy of larger moles.

Dr Lurie's practice is on the 25th Floor of the Foreshore Place building (old ABSA building) on the corner of Adderley and Riebeek Street, in the CBD of Cape Town. Entrance is via the lobby on the ground floor, where security will sign you in.
There are 2 paid parking garages nestop door to Foreshore Place.
Recommended: Thibault Square Underground Parkling or Loop Street Outdoor Parking.

You may pay via cash, card or medical aid. We submit to all medical aids, however are fully contracted to Discovery, Remedi, BankMed, GEMS REO, LA health, Engen and CAMAF network choice.
We submit to other medical aids with a co-payment ranging between R100-R150 depending on the scheme (based off discovery base rate of R550).
Additional procedures are billed in addition to the consult fee.
